There aren't many works for choir that I would describe as "epic", but Path of Miracles by Joby Talbot is that: epic. It traces (figuratively) the famous pilgrimage route of the Camino de Santiago, weaving an enormous sonic tapestry from a fairly small number of musical motifs and some quite memorable melodies in several languages. You will not often hear this work performed, so do yourself a favour and make time for this. Your spirit will be moved and your ears will be well satisfied.
Tickets are, as always, very affordable (as low as $10!) available on-line direct from the choir or from any member of the choir that you may know.
