I am an independent software development consultant, specializing in model-driven development with Eclipse technology, which has been a passion for the last ten years.  I am widely recognized for my high-quality output, timely delivery, and friendly and engaging manner.

I also happen to be a capable singer, performing sacred and secular works for choir and tenor solo from the renaissance to today.  If you are presenting vocal music in Ottawa, eastern Ontario, or west Québec, I can be your tenor.

Winter Words

  • Gloucester Presbyterian Church 91 Pike Street Ottawa, ON, K1T 3J6 Canada (map)

Music in Greenboro presents a recital of Winter Words, a masterful set of eight songs by Benjamin Britten on poems of Thomas Hardy. These songs are at times deeply moving and at times lightly playful. And always perfectly tuned to the meaning and emotion of Hardy's beautiful texts.

Winter Words will be sung by me, accompanied by Sabrina Tang, as one part of a concert coming soon in the Music in Greenboro series. The other part of the concert consists of piano music for multiple pairs of hands at one keyboard, and is equally not to be missed. You will have to be there to find out how many hands it is humanly possible to apply to one piano! And to see whether I make an appearance at the keyboard.

Admission is by free will donation: suggestion is $10, or $20 for a family. There is plenty of parking on-site, in addition to frequent service by the number 98 bus.
